We do not store your prompts. Everything you submit is processed in real-time by the AI and immediately discarded. No prompt you type is ever saved, logged, or reviewed by us.

What Data We Collect
Email addresses — only if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter through the prompt result gate. Your email is stored and managed by Beehiiv, our newsletter platform. We do not store it on our own servers.
IP addresses — used solely for real-time rate limiting to prevent abuse. IP data is stored temporarily in Upstash Redis with a 24-hour automatic expiry and is never used for tracking or profiling.
Browser session data — your generation count, the last 20 prompts you analyzed, and your email capture status are stored in your browser's sessionStorage. This data never leaves your device and is automatically deleted when you close the tab.
What We Do Not Collect
- –Your prompts — they are processed in real-time and never stored anywhere.
- –Cookies for tracking or advertising.
- –Device fingerprints or behavioral tracking data.
- –Any personally identifiable information beyond what you voluntarily provide.
Third-Party Services
dailyprompting.com uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.
AI processing — your prompts are sent to Claude via the Anthropic API and immediately discarded after the response is returned.
Email newsletter — if you subscribe, your email address is stored by Beehiiv. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
Web hosting — our application is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure.
Security and DDoS protection — Cloudflare processes requests before they reach our servers and handles Turnstile CAPTCHA verification.
Rate limiting — stores anonymized request counts (no prompt content) with a 24-hour TTL to prevent abuse.
Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.
The only browser storage we use is sessionStorage (not cookies), which stores your generation history and preferences locally on your device. This is cleared automatically when you close the tab.
Security & Privacy
Transit encryption. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ provided by Vercel hosting. Your prompts travel over an encrypted connection from your browser to our servers.
Prompts are never stored. Each prompt is processed in real-time and discarded immediately after the result is returned. There is no database of prompts, no logs, and no record of what you submitted.
Your prompts are never used to train AI. Anthropic (our AI provider) does not train models on API data per their usage policy. What you submit stays between you and the response.
Email addresses stored securely. If you subscribe, your email is stored by Beehiiv using industry-standard encryption. We never have direct access to Beehiiv's storage layer.
Session data stays on your device. Your prompt history is stored only in your browser's sessionStorage and is never sent to our servers. It disappears the moment you close the tab.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- –Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- –Right to erasure — request deletion of your email address from our newsletter.
- –Right to data portability — request your data in a portable format.
- –Right to object — object to processing of your personal data.
- –Right to withdraw consent — unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email dailyprompting@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. For newsletter unsubscribes, you can also use the unsubscribe link in any email from us.
Data Retention
- –Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
- –IP rate-limiting data: automatically deleted after 24 hours.
- –Browser session data: deleted when you close the tab.
- –Prompt content: never stored — deleted immediately after the AI response is returned.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
